Silicone covers / cases are designed to protect the radio from scratches, dings and scrapes much like a cell phone case. It can be used while the radio is in the charger as well as to utilize the factory belt clip. The SILICO-XPR7550 (BLACK) has a full keypad with identical buttons as the radio.
